Lulu Butler-Stoney is running the Flora London Marathon on April 13th 2003 !!

After members of Wallingford Rowing Club successfully completed their  Sponsored Row  on the Thames from Oxford to London over the weekend of 21/22 September 2002, raising close to £7000 for the Carolyn Jones Trust, Lulu Butler-Stoney will be running the Flora London Marathon on April the 13th 2003. 

 The last time Lulu visited Carolyn in hospital, She pledged to learn to run, train  and complete the FLora London Marathon. In return, Carolyn is to try and work hard  to learn to stand again. This would allow Carolyn to be taken out  in a car for a little tour in the hills, something she is very keen to do. Click here for more details.

To help raise money for the Carolyn Jones Trust and get a bit of sponsorship money for all her efforts, Lulu is organising a Barn Dance on May 10th, at Snells Barn, East Hendred, Nr Wantage, OXON. Mark this date in your diary, bring along a few friends and enjoy a fun evening while helping raise money for the Trust.

This event aimed to raise funds for the Carolyn Jones Trust, which was set-up to provide financial support for the long term care of Carolyn Jones, a member of Wallingford Rowing Club, who suffered a very serious accident last September while taking part in an adventure race in Switzerland.
