25th	It is with regret that Wallingford Regatta has had to be cancelled. On the advice of the Environment Agency it would not have been possible to safely run this years event. A decision regarding rescheduling will be made at a later date.
1st	Aspiring GB squad scullers had considerable success for Wallingford at the Scullers Head of the River. In atrocious conditions Wallingford women took 4 places in the top 6, winning the overall womens title was Helen Casey (WS2 Lwt) in 77th place, 2nd was Carolyn Jones (WO Lwt) and 4th was Lulu Butler-Stoney (WS2). Anne Grainger, who as Anne Marden who was a previous Scullers Head of the River winner took the Veteran A title and was the 6th fastest woman home. Mike Edge was the fastest Wallingford sculler coming 50th overal.
