ROWING NEWS

An update from Pete Sudbury on our trials group:
Helen Casey is off to Olympics in the LW2x!
Tanya Pollitt is stroking the GB LW4x for non-Olympic Worlds @ Banyoles
Shelley Wilkins is going to Banyoles as spare
Laura Greenhalgh is in U23 LW2x
Paul Mattick was in a proto-8 that raced at Lucerne, but wasn't fast enough to justify selection for the Worlds.

4 August - Fun Regatta

Many thanks to Lulu for organising the fun regatta and congratulations to the winning crew - Richard, Yannig, Pete and Charlie. Neville took some photos on the evening and these will soon be here on the website.

We raised over £120 for Carolyn Jones through the clothes and book sale - thanks to everyone who donated.

The club ties which were on sale have now been put behind the bar. So, Alan or Mike can let you have one for a mere £10.

"Pics from fun regatta, don't have many 'cos the limited light etc....not that I was too busy boosting the bars profits!"
